HI, I AM ANITA KIRTI,
THE HOST OF THE WORLD WE INHERIT.

I am a twenty-three year old self-identified nerd and believer-in-change. Some would argue to a fault. But, instead of taking the hint, I made this podcast. It’s the intersection of the two things I do best: intellectual analysis and social impact. I do deep-dives into issues like police brutality, climate change, and human rights and suggest actionable steps each of us can take to make a change.

Most importantly, The World We Inherit is a dedication to the young activists and thought leaders who are paving the way for a brighter and more just future. Very simply, I want this show to inform and bring hope to young people - like me - who feel overwhelmed with the happenings of the world. And, needless to say, we got our work cut out for us. So, let’s goooooo!

Among young people today, there is a palpable energy for change. Just look at the protests for Black Lives Matter in the US or those for democracy in Hong Kong.

We are unimpressed by how generations prior addressed (or, more accurately, did not address) existential issues like climate change and systemic racism.

And that’s where the inspiration for The World We Inherit was born.
